‘Egg Horn’

The ‘Egg Horn’ emerged from the kiln today.  I only wish I could tap into where the inspiration for pieces like this comes from.  The Scava Chunky Black clay is a dream to work with, the texture of raw flapjack and Kathy’s idea to add the red glaze really sets it off.  I can see my pots setting off in another new direction now….and it’s Black…and it’s Chunky!

  1. Most interesting. I prefer the 30 degrees plus and the spa bath to the snow and the sledge. I do however envy you the pint of beer. Get the old fella organised to visit Australia.
